No Reservations...

That baritone voice, the fuzzy guitar lick and those words. I wanted to be Anthony Bourdain, I wanted to be a cameraman on one of his adventures into food, the people and the stories. I started traveling like him. I look for the unusual, I talk to as many people as I can, I take picture and I'm always hungry. The food, the place, the country, the people, they are all connected and when we overlook one, we  potentially miss it all. I have some personal experience with loss from suicide and I cannot stress enough that this is a real crisis. The loss of family, friends and people that you didn't know but that inspired you are a loss to us all. I cannot be quiet anymore. This isn't just a silent cross of loss I'm willing to bear alone anymore. Stand up, be a part of the battle against mental illness that leads our friends and families down the dark path to the insatiable monster of suicide. Talk to someone, anyone. You don't have to go this alone. You don't need a reservation...Please, please call 1-800-273-8255. There is someone there to talk to... right now.
