Oldies but goodies

This is a piece I created for the Woodburn Dragstrip for their 2018 show called Oldies but Goodies. I was inspired by another great car artist found at Dutch Courage Graffix. He uses a limited colour palette and prefers to work on black t's. Though I'm showing this art on black, it was printed on white shirts. My original design also used red instead of yellow as I was going for more of an Americana looks for the colours. Come to find out, the client doesn't like red.
